I have done been up there. The new dam will help the current situation.
But man what i see right now looks very bad. I've never seen it look so bad.
Guys i hope things gets better for BSG.
Something i will never forget. Mrs Sadie Jones one time when we were in drought situation in Appy. She said i know this may be wrong. But she said a prayer either before during or after a council meeting.
The next little bit our drought situation ended. One woman i always loved and respected. She had more compassion for those around her and she knew our small town couldn't survive a major drought.
Never know who God may send as your angel.
Some day i will tell a little story about this fabulous lady and as she called it her baby boy.
She had many a baby child in Appy and it didn't matter the color.
Guys i hope things get better. Maybe a few Mrs. Sadie's will help, and their righteous prayers.

Excellent post, my friend. The situation is indeed bad. My Church did pray for rain today. Hopefully others will also. It is imperative that BSG folks conserve water. I made a statement at the Emergency Meeting last Wednesday that I was afraid might make the media. I live in the attic of my mother's house. She doesn't understand the situation and feels she mus wash clothes everyday. Not mine, but hers. I had to turn the water off leading to the washing machine. Can you see the headlines now? "Town Council Member cuts off his own mother's water." Oh well, I felt I had no choice. May have to get my girlfriend to do some laundry for me soon. The Town had no choice in building a new dam. The old one was getting unsafe and the powers that be gave us no choice. I haven't been up there since the dedication, but have seen pics. Please conserve water. By the way, Sadie Jones was one of a kind. We need more like her and the world would be a much better place. She had a big heart for people and their problems.

yeah i tell ya' were up a creek without a paddle right now... it's getting bad, us and my neighbors are getting water out of our swimming pools to flush, in order to try and save water...

it may sound weird, but were doing what we can do ..

yeah i went up to the lake today and i was really shocked... my jaw dropped actually when i seen it .. .

We're up the creek without a paddle, or water in the creek either for that matter. This is going to be TERRIBLE if we don't get some rain. And SOON.

I seen it on the news tonight. It's not looking good at all for the folks in BSG. The city manger was saying that they only had 15 days of water left or something like that.

the guy my dad works for he is doing the waterline in BSG and they told my dads boss that they were cuttin it off Wednesday as in 2 days..but i dunno thats what i heard.
